The Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca is a perfect combination of high and low profile. High profile because it houses all of the best people when they come into town, low profile because you can't really get in if you're not staying there. Which is a shame because the bar is truly gorgeous. There's a cozy room with the best tree at Christmastime perfect for fireside martini, or an inner courtyard which transports you from NYC to Narnia. The restaurant, Locanda Verde, is beautiful and elegant and the spa is Japanese inspired and utterly delicious.
